Lot Lever, Inc. ("Lot Lever," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered automotive dealership intelligence and marketing platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our platform and services.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

Account registration details (name, email address, dealership name, phone number)
Content you create within the platform (experience offers, specials, videos, customer notes)
Payment and billing information (processed by third-party payment processors)
Communications with our support team

Information collected automatically from your platform use:

Usage logs, feature interactions, and session data
Device type, browser, and IP address
Pages visited and actions taken within the platform

Information collected from dealership website visitors (via the Lot Lever pixel):

Anonymized behavioral data (pages viewed, time on site, vehicle interest signals)
Session identifiers and visitor IDs (not personally identifiable without form submission)
Form submissions voluntarily provided by website visitors (name, email, phone)
Vehicle detail page views and inventory interactions

2. How We Use Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Lot Lever platform
To deliver AI-powered insights, shopper intelligence, and marketing tools to dealerships
To send lead notifications to dealership CRM systems on behalf of dealerships
To communicate with you about your account, updates, and platform changes
To process payments and prevent fraud
To analyze platform usage and improve our features
To comply with legal obligations

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with:

Dealership clients: Website visitor leads and behavioral data are shared with the subscribing dealership that deployed the Lot Lever pixel on their website
Service providers: Supabase (database), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email delivery), Anthropic (AI processing) — each bound by data processing agreements
CRM systems: Lead data is transmitted to dealership-designated CRM email addresses in ADF XML format at the dealership's direction
Legal requirements: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety

4. Website Visitor Data (Pixel)

The Lot Lever intelligence pixel is deployed on dealership websites by subscribing dealerships. Visitors to those websites should refer to the dealership's own privacy policy. Lot Lever acts as a data processor on behalf of the dealership (the data controller) for this data.

Data collected by the pixel is used solely to provide shopper intelligence services to the deploying dealership and is never sold or shared with other dealerships or third parties for advertising purposes.

5. Data Retention

Platform account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days
Website visitor behavioral data is retained for 24 months from collection
Lead form submissions are retained per the dealership's account settings
You may request deletion of your data at any time

6. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, row-level security policies on all database tables, and access controls. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to use strong passwords and notify us of any suspected unauthorized access.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@thelotlever.com.

California residents: Lot Lever does not sell personal information as defined under the CCPA.

8. Cookies

The Lot Lever platform uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. The Lot Lever pixel uses first-party-style identifiers (localStorage/sessionStorage) to maintain visitor sessions. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email or platform notification. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
